The Vampire Diaries Episode 2.18 "The Last Dance" New Photos

Thanks to EW and Spoilers Guide I have a spoilery picture preview to share for The Vampire Diaries April 14th episode, "The Last Dance". It's a 60's themed Decade Dance and Klaus is expected to show, so everyone is tense and on their toes. Damon and Elena will share a dance without the interference of Ms. Katherine. Bonnie and Jeremy are closer than ever, while Matt and Caroline struggle to work through Matt's new take on life in Mystic Falls.

The Vampire Diaries End Of Season Spoiler Round-up With Julie Plec

Executive producer Julie Plec had some free time Monday while waiting on a notes call and decide to tweet some end of season spoilers to The Vampire Diaries fandom. She answered fan questions and threw in a few extra side dishes for good measure.

• One more flashback, yes folks, we will see Flashback Falls again in season 2 and Trevor(Rose's friend) will be there.
• Isobel's true motives remain unseen, hummmmm.
• In next Thursday's episode, "Know Thy Enemy", Damon and Elena find a new secret weapon; Delena scenes!
• The grim reaper will visit Mystic Falls again and there will be a few, if not several deaths...imagine ;)
• Caroline is probably safe for this season. Julie says,

  “Caroline having chemistry with everybody has been the best surprise to us as writers. Makes it easy to find story. So, hopefully Caroline will not be one of the casualties mentioned above."

• Everyone is banning together to save Elena, but Bonnie will face the most danger.
• When we meet Luka's sister, Greta, know that she's one bad witch.
• Anxious fans will finally meet the baddest of the bad, Klaus, in the April 21st episode.
• The Vampire Diaries wraps filming April 15th and returns to filming in July. There's no official word from the CW yet, but it's safe to say TVD will return for a third season.

EyeCon's 'Vampire Diaries' Convention Heats Up Hotlanta

If you missed The Vampire Diaries EyeCon Convention this past weekend in Atlanta like I did, you probably want to live vicariously through the many fans that were there ;). A Family Reunion For Bonnie On The Vampire Diaries

Surprise, agenda welding family members has been the twist of choice for The Vampire Diaries as of late, and Elena's biologicals, John and Isobel, are just the first. According to The TV Addict Bonnie~Katerina Graham is next in line for a family reunion and Bonnie's witchy relative may be in Mystic Falls as I type. In true TVD style the new arrival has their own agenda and is said to have a sordid past with Katherine.

Who does that sound like to you? My guess, and it's only speculation, is Lucy~Natashia Williamson. If you remember in "Masquerade", Lucy promised Bonnie that she'd see her again. What are your thoughts on this new piece of spoilery goodness?

The Vampire Diaries Spoilers Julie Plec Talks Death And Season 3

Anyone who loves and supports The Vampire Diaries knows that nothing is forever, especially where the characters are concerned. They get briefed from jump that their time on the show can be seriously limited. Creator/EP Julie Plec spoiled to Wetpaint that the fans will absolutely see some deaths by the end of season 2.

“Anything can happen at any time, and not everybody’s going to like it.” Doing the math leaves us with 20 or so people currently calling Mystic Falls their home. So, in true TVD fashion Plec goes on to say that, “A percentage of them will not make it to Season 3.”

Plec also spoils about future episodes and how they will delve into the true meaning of immortality and what it can do to the soul.

“Something that we’ll explore in the future once we get into Klaus and the world of the Originals and future seasons, is that it’s true immortality,” teases Plec. “How lonely must that be?”
