I've just heard from Jen Yamato, a TVD recapper from HitFix, that a fan favorite will be returning to Mystic Falls very soon. Arielle Kebbel~Lexi says she will be coming back to "The Vampire Diaries" when flashback Falls returns in episode 15, "The Dinner Party".
